The IFAK, Individual First Aid Kit, as issued by the USAF in Iraq. The kit consists of a folding insert pouch wich is attached by a cord to the carrier pouch. The folding pouch has elestic straps and vented compartments to keep the contents in place, even in case of leaving in a hurry.
The black pouch is made of Cordura nylon, with M.O.L.L.E. straps.
The IFAK measures 8"x6"x4", it is a compact and lightweight pouch, the complete kit weights 1.6 lbs. The IFAK contains all the essentials for wound management. NSN: 8465-01-251-3772
